@TheHome_RunKing I’m not opposed to sports betting from either a moral or philosophical perspective. But thinking closing line value and volume equates to profitability is foolish. Sports books 100% know everything you think you know and much, much more. It’s all baked into the odds.
@bkbailey13@JuicyJRandle@al2k12 @ESPNBetSupport Too many headaches. Too many horror stories. Why certain sports books can’t get this right is beyond me.
@JuicyJRandle@al2k12@bkbailey13 @ESPNBetSupport Amazing, simply amazing. And the C-suites wonder why ESPNBet continues to lose market share to DraftKings and FanDuel.
@al2k12@bkbailey13@JuicyJRandle @ESPNBetSupport Hanlon’s Razor (never attribute to malice what can be attributed to incompetence).
I sure as heck won’t be going out of my way to play promos on ESPNBet going forward.
@al2k12@bkbailey13@JuicyJRandle @ESPNBetSupport In previous promos they’ve specified in the terms where the market for the promo can be found, including in a game’s specials page. WHY wouldn’t they do that this time, unless they were purposely vague so people would bet but not get the bonus. I really hate deceptive practices.
@bkbailey13@al2k12@JuicyJRandle @ESPNBetSupport Ha, hilarious. I read through all the terms and conditions for the promo and not once did they mention this is only available in “Specials”. I’m sticking to FanDuel and DraftKings for jackpot promos from now on.
@ESPNBetSupport I think we all just want to know whether the 0.5 first inning runs market would count for last night’s Sunday Night Baseball Jackpot promo (seeing as the Yes/No markets don’t exist) and when we could expect the bonus bets from it.
@al2k12@bkbailey13@JuicyJRandle @ESPNBetSupport How can that be the case? Yes/No for first inning run doesn’t exist as a market on ESPNBet. It’s only o0.5 or u0.5 runs. The promo said to bet on will there be a run in scored in the first inning, so it couldn’t have been one of the teams to score in the first inning markets.
@barstoolsports News flash: Winston’s contract is for two years, $8 million. The Giants aren’t paying Jameis $4 million/year to be a starting quarterback.
@HardRockBet What’s up with your Happy Hour boost today (Jokic to score 30+ points)? You have it boosted from +130 to +185, but Jokic 30+ is +155 on your own site and FanDuel has it unboosted at +190. Not much of a boost…
