This is 87 yr old Percy. He was refereeing a kids match in St Ives yesterday, just as he does every week.
He refereed his first game in 1973.

Grassroots football doesn’t just happen. It only works because people step up, whether that’s refereeing, coaching, running the line, or helping out with the team's admin.

The good news? You don’t need to be 87, a qualified ref, or a superhero.
