A Korean university student who loves Football Manager has become the owner of a club in Malawi!
He travelled to Malawi because he wanted to visit obscure football clubs and ended up at Chizumulu United, a tiny club based on an island of around 4,000 people.
After he returned to Korea, the club contacted him because they couldn’t afford the $300 fee needed to enter their competition.
He paid it. Then he ended up becoming the OWNER of the club.
Since then, he’s documented the journey on YouTube, brought in sponsorship from Korean companies and Puma, and even took Chizumulu’s coaching staff to South Korea to visit professional training sessions.
They finished 6th out of 16 in his first season. Now they’re 3rd and fighting for promotion.
Someone has actually started an obscure Football Manager save in real life.
🏴🚨If England win the 2026 World Cup, Reece James could become the most decorated English footballer of his generation.

From nearly leaving Chelsea due to injuries to potentially completing football’s biggest trophy collection. What a comeback that would be.
