InterLink Name Service (INS) is preparing to launch next week, marking another important milestone in the evolution of the @inter_link ecosystem.

@InterLinkINS is built on a decentralized architecture where ownership, resolution, and records are managed through smart contracts. Instead of relying on centralized databases, every name is cryptographically secured on chain, giving users full ownership and control over their digital identity.

Under the hood, @InterLinkINS separates name ownership from data resolution. This modular design allows a single identity to securely map to wallet addresses, payment endpoints, verified business information, digital credentials, and future application specific records while remaining flexible for future upgrades and ecosystem expansion.

As the @inter_link ecosystem grows, INS is designed to become much more than a readable wallet name. It will serve as a universal identity layer for users, businesses, organizations, and AI agents, enabling seamless interactions across payments, governance, decentralized applications, and digital commerce.

A blockchain is only as powerful as the infrastructure built on top of it. Identity is one of the most fundamental layers because every transaction, business, application, and user interaction begins with knowing who or what is participating in the network.

The launch of INS is another step toward our vision of building infrastructure that connects blockchain with the real economy. It is not simply about replacing complex wallet addresses.
