@benjamincowen I could be mistaken, but I believe it includes a definition for that: A blockchain is considered decentralized if no single person has unilateral control and no issuer controls more than 20% of the asset or voting power.

@brian_armstrong There is a fundamental disconnect here. The https://t.co/t2wMZlxv9V at 0.05 eth costs more than any AAA game. For an indie experiment that looks mediocre at best, it needs to cost something like $2 for a starter deck of digital common cards, not $100.

@_Checkmatey_ just seems like semantics... on retweet. The words don't matter, they both have distinct use cases. Everything built on ETH will end up on BTC layer 2 while possible, feels a bit zombie apocalypse. Decentralization is a top priority for only a subset of use cases in this world.

@PlayFrugal @stormsyr22 @_Checkmatey_ Isn’t some entity paying a similar fee to move btc on or off of the lightning network? It’s been a while since I was experimenting with lightning but it doesn’t seem like that could change.
