Dave Kilminster

English rock musician, singer-songwriter and composer... mostly seen standing on top of a bloody great 'Wall' playing guitar with Roger Waters from Pink Floyd!!

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@TrailerTrsh No, I’m not involved with that… but yeah, life is good thank you!! 😊✨🙏🏼

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@hultonenglish Yeah… 😬 Nothing on the horizon regarding any live performances… and the album is still in the works!!

It’ll be worth waiting for… ✨

I recently met up with Patrick Fabian, probably best known for his brilliant portrayal of ‘Howard Hamlin’ in the TV series ‘Better Call Saul’!!

Patrick’s also a keen music fan, having attended some of the concerts I’ve played alongside both @StevenWilsonHQ & Roger Waters!!

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@progrockpills Love this album!!! 😎♥️✨

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@officialjwetton Wow, I’ve never seen this pic before!! 😊

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@Natja7533Janin Yeah, it was only about 95% covered but it was still cool… 🙂 xx

Maria & I, watching the Solar eclipse on Glastonbury Tor yesterday… 😎

Twenty years ago today I played my first ever show with Roger Waters… a small, intimate little warm up gig in front of 70,000 people at the ‘Rock in Rio’ festival… which bizarrely was actually in Lisbon, Portugal!! 🇵🇹

It’s been quite a journey…. ✨

@sandsy40 ☺️✨🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@SentinelOnenow @licklibrary 🥰 Thank you!! Yeah, can you believe I got the Waters gig over 20 years ago??!!! 🤯

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

I was tagged in this video recently, so I thought I’d repost it here… it’s a clip from a guitar instructional DVD that I filmed for @licklibrary… obviously WAY before my stints with Roger Waters & Steven Wilson… and apparently before I discovered sleep by the looks of it!! 🤣

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@cyclesinthedark @Mikehomeseller @Music__Mentor 😊✨🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@WaxinThePeacock @TheExtremeMusi1 Ahh… the good old days!! ☺️

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@TNTgrupa Easy choice…

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@ChrisMangerMD Well I only had an hour before the next guy came in… a certain Andy Latimer from Camel!!!

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

Twenty years ago today I got up at stupid o’clock & drove myself down to Sensible Studios in North London for an early morning audition with a certain Mr. Waters.

🦶🏻note; this wonderful picture by Kate Izor obviously isn’t from my audition, but I thought it set the scene nicely

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@philaston @progrocksongs Yeah, they should have been!! I’m just happy I got to see them live… ☺️

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

@flintc1 @progrocksongs Yeah, the new Stargazer mix is nice, too… the drums sound better, and the sound is a little fuller…

[Dave Kilminster @DaveKilminster]

Those lovely chaps at Prog Rock Songs asked me to compile a ‘prog’ playlist, so here it is!!

There were a few songs I really wanted to include (like ‘The Bells of Berlin’ by Lone Star) but unfortunately they’re not on Spotify...

Hope you enjoy this selection anyway!! 😎✨🤘🏼
