@PauleyMo67@Mormonger If you’re going to use a verse to prove a point, then finish the quote, dude. “A spirit hath not flesh and bones __ __ ___ __ ____.” And yes, that’s Jesus/God talking.
Try listening to *all* of what he says, not just the parts you cherry pick.
@Manhattva One of my maternal ancestors was involved with this. Meanwhile, on my paternal side, this is a grok imagine representation based on his journal descriptions in the Mormon Battalion in the Sonora Desert somewhere between Santa Fe and Phoenix. I’m sure it doesn’t do justice though.
@walkinghispath@TeeplesCY As a Latter-day Saint Christian, I don’t consider the Koran as scripture, no. Obviously, a Muslim would disagree and consider the Koran *the* preeminent scripture. But that has little to do with the point @TeeplesCY is making, which has to do with various editions of the Bible.
@TradDadZeek@Mormonger@TaylorRMarshall Why are you “just wondering”? For what it’s worth, both of your definitions could fit into a broad definition of “Christianity”.
Also, neither of your definitions is an adequate representation of LDS theology. The first is a merely novice convention, and the second is undefined.
@CynicalPublius Credentialism is the flailing emotional outburst of midwits discovering their epistemic boundary.
An inevitable consequence of the democratization, thus mediocritization, of an education system that, similarly, relies upon titles to avoid confrontation with critical thought.
@Melchiz95828621@Manhattva My soul delighteth in plainness [much preferred over far-flung logic mingled with disparate name-dropping in a half-snide accusatory tone].

@EconVon@Mormonger Yes that verse talks about intelligences being “organized”, presumably organized *around* the spirit, in the context of the preceding verses 18 and 19, which seems to clearly state that *spirit* is the eternal “gnolaum”, to which intelligence/intelligences may be organized with.
@Kingarthur1966@Manhattva@KUTV2News@samhoffmannews The Church is against both gender transition surgery AND murder, for what it’s worth. But I assume your question is more along the lines of, how PC do they approach it. Probably pretty PC. They usually are except for when they have to maintain doctrinal clarity.
@LauraLoomer@EmmanuelMacron@RealCandaceO What are all these ridiculous replies calling her a rat? Are we all in a make-believe mob, taking oaths of allegiance and secrecy and burning saints together? I must have missed that day.
@LDS_Dems@Manhattva Banal comment. Trump would have been elected even without Utah, and continues to have support far and wide across the nation. So you have zero point here aside from pretension.
If you listen to just ONE thing today, this podcast is it. @havivrettiggur reviews the #Iran war from the viewpoint of American grand strategy. He gets it exactly right. https://t.co/I80SnDHSrj
Football is a game we love because the people we love are always around when we watch it on television or in person. Togetherness is the secret sauce that makes sports special. It’s always sad to see a season end, but man, is it rejuvenating to get ready for a new one — together.👉 https://t.co/3BE06KKD8G
