Kyle Schwarber to the Reds is becoming more and more of a possibility as the markets shake out.

I'm becoming more optimistic it could happen.

He does not have any offers above $150M over 6 years as it stands, most coming in near $90M over 4.

The Reds absolutely could offer a deferral package & stay competitive with the youth core to bring in a big time DH and they should do it.

I reiterate: THAT would be the type of move to frenzy the fanbase, which is what the organization needs.

The Schwarber's want to come home and be home. It's not a rumor. It's a fact. He came back to Middletown a few weeks ago to detail his plans in detail to 'give back.'

He owns land all around Cincinnati. The 'building a house' thing hasn't been confirmed, but he owns multiple properties around here, it's where he grew up.

The Reds should offer him 4/$90M and defer $30,000,000. That is more than a respectable offer, Kyle knows the business of baseball, he also knows the Reds market.
