Thought you’d be interested to hear what we hear in our headphones during a game. The voices belong to match director Steve & production assistant Sara. When the match kicks off we also get the producer, our statistician Adrian & the referee @btsportrugby
@chilternrailway You missed off the 1921 from MYB to Oxford. Normally four coaches, just three tonight. Which is ridiculous as you also have ticket acceptance in place with GWR to Oxford according to the board at MYB.
@chilternrailway@stodge_p@VictoriaPrentis I appreciate the reply. perhaps you could ask someone on the team and find out for us? I don’t really understand why Oxford commuters should benefit to such a degree at the expense of Bicester commuters. Thanks
@chilternrailway@stodge_p@VictoriaPrentis Perhaps not but that wasn’t actually my question 😀 And if they are available for Oxford to MYB anyway, why can’t you bring them back? Is it really the case that you have competition at Oxford on the London route so need to be offering a more attractive price from there?
@chilternrailway oh, the irony. 8.37 from BIT to MYB is short formed due to a shortage of coaches yet the 759 from BIT to MYB has been cancelled which means 8 coaches must be sitting there unused...
@stodge_p@chilternrailway I am on a train at Paddington now, due Oxford at 2149. Helen is going to pick me up there else otherwise it is an hour on the bus or an expensive taxi ride which chiller won’t refund. Good luck!
@chilternrailway The 0735 BIT to MYB train is already standing room only before it arrives. And no business zone onboard despite it being advertised at the station. Back to the bad old days. Going to wait for the 0759 - wonder if i can claim a refund as there was no space...
