🚨 New Manager Announcement 🚨
We’re delighted to welcome Lee Mitchell as the new manager of Doncaster Rovers Belles.
With more than 25 years in the women’s game, Lee brings a wealth of experience spanning the UK, USA and Middle East across coaching, coach education, player development and leadership.
Time spent working alongside national coaching staff in the USA helped shape a coaching philosophy built on learning from some of the game’s leading minds, while a broad range of roles since returning to the UK - including FA tutor and mentor, Technical Director, Head of the FA’s ETC in Lincolnshire, and manager at Boston United Women, Lincoln City Women and Lincoln United Women - reflect a career dedicated to developing players, coaches and clubs at every level.
Welcome to the Belles, Lee. The next chapter starts here. 💛💙

• An U21s side with an average age just over 17.
• A hostile environment in Rossington.
• A last-minute winner.
• County Cup quarter-finals secured.
Proper cup football. Mud, knocks, and togetherness – and a group that refused to be beaten.
The HEART and the FUTURE of women’s football in Doncaster is in very safe hands.
Into the next round. 💛

A disappointing night in terms of the result, but it was a memorable evening for Charlotte Gowlett as she made her first team debut against Leeds United! 💫
Congratulations, Charlotte! 👏

Doncaster Rovers Belles U21s produced a sensational comeback to beat Leeds U23s 3-2 and end their opponents’ 100% record.
After falling two goals behind, the young Belles showed outstanding character and composure to turn the game on its head.
Charlotte Gowlett began the fightback before Maisie Everitt struck the equaliser, setting up a dramatic finale.
The moment of the match came from Taylah Charlton, who fired home a stunning 30-yard winner to seal a memorable victory.
A brilliant result and performance full of spirit, belief and quality. 💛💙

A victory in a local derby is cool and everything, but the biggest win of the day is seeing Natalie Banaszczyk making her comeback from a terrible injury after months out and not knowing when the return to football would come.
One of the best people to have around the squad in training, but even better to see her back on the pitch in a Belles shirt where she belongs.
Congratulations Nat! 💛💙
Belles U21s were privileged to be invited to St George’s Park to be a part of filming for the new UEFA courses from the FA.

See the first team in action on Sunday at Millmoor! 🎟️⬇️

Brilliant battling performance from the U21s in the County Cup this afternoon, but after leading for a large part of the game and going in 1-0 up at half time, Barnsley first team ultimately came out on top with a 3-1 victory.
Impressive performances across the park from many individuals in yellow, there was much to be proud of from the Belles side.
