Former MI6 chief, Sir Alex Younger gives some Brexit truths.
“Putin would’ve been absolutely delighted by our decision (to leave the EU) and so would Xi.”
“Particularly since I've left office and I've travelled around Europe, I'm profoundly depressed.
“Just nobody mentions the UK. We've made ourselves irrelevant. And this is extraordinary. The beginning part of this century, we were the dominant force. France has effectively eclipsed us and you just don't hear a discussion of us.”
“I think Brexit has Brexit has marginalised us. It was kind of intended to do exactly that.”
Elon Musk was forced to reveal who financed his purchase of Twitter.
Amongst owners of Twitter there are two Russian oligarchs who are close to Putin and we're sanctioned over the Russian invasion of Ukraine: Petr Aven and Vadim Moshkovich.

Trump slams immigrants.
In interview with immigrant.
While married to an immigrant.
With 4 kids born to two different immigrants.
Whose VP is married to daughter of immigrants.
Make it MAKE SENSE.

If you're doing Nazi salutes outside Downing Street you have no right to claim you are patriots, or that you are speaking for Britain. I can think of little that is, in fact, more *anti-British* than the fucking Nazis. We literally fought a world war against that shit.
In news that will surely gladden Brexiter hearts, Britain is no longer a top 10 manufacturing nation for the first time since the Industrial Revolution.
They knew it would happen, of course, with the likes of Patrick Minford talking about the need to run auto manufacturing down.
This can only be solved by rejoining the Single Market or the EU.
If they have half a brain between the lot of them, that's a point 72 LibDem MPs will make loud and clear.
This is a gift for them. The mood of the country is on their side and crying out for leadership on Brexit.
What more fitting way to honour the man who so famously awarded a multi-million ferry contract to a company which had no ferries?
Lord Chris Grayling - Rishi Sunak’s final act of contempt for us 😡
Just went with Anna and the kids to vote.
Democracy is flawed, imperfect & awkward. It’s also one of the most beautiful & powerful things about our country. Power with the people.
No matter how we vote, we must always nurture our democracy & the culture that underpins it.
The Brexit you championed is calculated by Bloomberg to be costing the UK £100bn a year in lost output - that’s roughly £40bn less for the Government to invest in our hospitals, schools & public services we all rely on. By almost every economic and financial measure Brexit has been disastrous for the UK and you know it
The clearest and most constructive option for a new Labour growth plan is to rejoin the EU Customs Union. That is NOT the same as rejoining the EU. But it would make immense sense economically and strategically. Please do it!
Another entry in the increasingly common series "I've just remembered that I'm concerned about the level of executive dominance in the British political system for reasons totally unconnected to my side definitely losing power".

@aboveeg @PhilRodgers@MakeVotesMatter Well we had a vote on AV yes. We could also consider other, more proportional (fairer) systems. I don't think we should stop trying to make things better just because of a vote many years ago - we would never change anything. People need to feel like their vote matters.
