@SportsDirect_CS Macclesfield store refusing to give refund. Bought shoes that cause considerable pain to wear. I’m entitled to a refund (not exchange) in accordance with statutory rights. This includes “not of satisfactory quality” and “unusable - not fit for purpose”.

Now I see the answer’s they set rules on much the skids can wear on a weekend, that’s how it differs to a broken body panel. But if there’s a 1mm wear limit on a normal weekend shouldn’t it be more with sprint/sprint shootout?

@Wayne_Schlot @wtf1official If they’re allowed 1mm of wear in an average weekend, and Ferrari were only a few tenths of a mm thinner, I think it’s fair to say the extra laps of the sprint race/sprint shootout are equivalent to the few tenths of a mm. The rules should allow for extra wear on Sprint weekends.

@ESPNF1 The skids weren’t worn before the race, they were excessively worn due to the poor uneven track surface and extra sprint/sprint shootout laps. If a driver loses a piece of bodywork during a race he isn’t disqualified, how’s that different?

@furundungo @MF1motorsports You mean a once in a lifetime chassis designed by the best mind in aerodynamics, the man who wrote the rule book on ground effect and the only one who truly understands it, Adrian Newey. Max is just lucky to be in that car. Yes he can drive, but the car plays a bigger part.
