@dollop777@realcavsfans This right here. Also he’s supposed to love NE Ohio and the fans. It’s home…remember? Reread his letter. Obviously he doesn’t owe us fans and his neighbors anything. That said either do we…owe him anything. And now he decided to play against us 4-5 times a year.
💯% I’d much rather build a statue for Donovan even now than @KingJames. I hope that never gets built. Kyrie and JR has just as to do with Cavs championship as LeBron IMHO! Donovan is us! He’s Miami, LA, Philly and NY. NE Ohio was where he grew up, but he’s not us IMO. #LetEmKnow
Cleveland - As you go through the process of that kid from Akron not coming back (again), you need to recognize that these 3 players still either make Cleveland their home or are a huge part of the Cavs (broadcasting, camps, etc).
When they call the Cavs "home" they mean it.
This decision from LeBron was simple looking at it in hindsight. He’s always wanted to chase Michael, number of championships, scoring title, other accolades he has earned. Yet it kills him that not everyone sees him as the 🐐. I do, but today he proved 🐐 status aside he’s all about Bron. He would rather be the first to four championships with four diff teams than to end his career where it started where he was revered. He won me back in 2014-2018, i still was on board in 2018-2026. He lost me today. I think he’s great, greatest basketball talent ever. But he lost me today with this and I hope he knows going off into the sunset as a Sixer not going to be the best story it could be. He is about himself, always has been and that became 100% reinforced today. He doesn’t care about NE Ohio, he dangled “Go home” songs, Welcome Home hats on social media. He pushed the narrative that he was coming back and he knew what he was doing. He also had discussions paving his way for a return. Do you think this 7/25 event in Cleveland and the celebration was a stage for something greater? What about the hugely publicized 10th anniversary 2016 🏆 trip. It was all building toward a different outcome. And at the end of the day…his never ending quest to be regarded as 🐐 prevailed. Well the truth whatever happens in Philly he still will have to battle against the same people claiming otherwise, he will never win that battle. That being said. I wish him the best 2016 was something I’ll never forget, but i won’t be welcoming him with open arms next season. He will receive the boos that opposing teams get from Cavs faithful. If you are not with us you are against us! It’s time to truly #LetEmKnow
