Today the College of Cardinals came together inside the Sistine Chapel for the conclave. After the 14th ballot they have elected Francisco Cardinal Barrio, now known as His Holiness, Pope Pius XVI.

Many believers, diplomats, and clergy gathered today at St. Peter's Square, it was the day of the funeral of His Holiness, Pope Vincent I.

May the Holy Father be reunited with God in His kingdom.

Today I departed for Rome, Vatican City to attend the funeral Mass for His Holiness, Pope Vincent I at St. Peter's Square

The coffin of His Holiness, Pope Vincent I has been seald by His Eminence Francisco Cardinal Barrio inside St. Peters Basilica.

Today I flew to Rome to take part in the procession that escorted the body of Pope Vincent I to St. Peter's Basilica.

The predecessor was the Camerlengo Cardinal Gerard Imbert. After the procession, the Holy Father stays inside the Basilica for the viewing.

Yesterday, the Cardinal Camerlengo brought us the terrible news that:

Yesterday afternoon, the solemn procession for the receiving of the body of His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVII, took place at the Sistine Chapel. During this huge event, the faithful, clergy, and officials present in the Chapel paid their respects to the remains of the late Pontiff

VIEWING OF THE LATE HOLY FATHER BENEDICT XVII

The viewing of the body of Pope Benedict XVII will take place beginning tomorrow at the Sistine Chapel. There will be a short procession prior to the viewing at 18:30 Rome Time.

His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVII passed peacefully away at the age of 72.
