@AuthorGFAllen Not since school have I finished a book I wasn’t enjoying. I give a book 10%-15% of its length and if it’s not for me I move on to another book.
@howardarw@gblondon1@skytv@virginmedia Yep. Have a 10 month old, that now goes into a savings account for her each month. Don’t have time to binge watch anything nor watch super Sunday anymore anyway.
@milagracesmom My 10 month old hates being alone for a second. When she’s playing with a toy she needs me or her Mum (mostly her Mum) right next to her. Probably isn’t healthy, but I’ll sit there as long as I can. One day she won’t want me there.
@EJWoolf I saw a group of school kids in what looked like a school trip about 10am, looked safe as houses to me. Teachers and chaperones were on it. London can suck, but those kids were safe.
@pdrmnvd My Dad always calls me every Sunday for a 2-3 minute chat, but now he video calls earlier so he can see his granddaughter before bedtime. He didn’t even know what a video call was before she was born. Think he’s forgotten my name, he keeps calling me “where’s my grandaughter”?
@Swizec 100% agree with you. I was 44 when my little girl was born and there is no way I would have been able to do this in my 20s or 30s. I needed to grow up first
