@UCHD@annetics@alpineschools@CC_Utah @UtahDepOfHealth This is incredibly irresponsible. Not just for our kids, but also for everyone in their families. I can't believe a health department is issuing recommendations that would allow my child to continue to attend school with someone who has tested positive and is not wearing a mask.
@sophie_e_hill I brought an incorrectly-sized form to the RMV and was told to talk to Diego at Sally's Beauty Supply two shops down - turns out he ran a black market RMV form business on the side - $20 later I had a correctly-sized form - avoiding them on the phone/in-person highly recommended!
I think my #APSA2020 panel I discussed today set a record for most time zones covered by the participants - we had Hawaii, West Coast, East Coast, and Hong Kong covered between the presenters, chair, and me (discussant)!
This is innumeracy masquerading as accountability.
$1.4 billion out of $269 billion—a 0.5% error rate—going to people it shouldn’t have really isn’t that big a deal for money that had to get out the door immediately. https://t.co/QoeupeobTc

“I found her in the chapel and we held each other and cried,” Mitchell said. “As a result of this expression of our pain, something wonderful happened. The members of our ward came together, they embraced us as well, and they prayed with us, they mourned with us.”' 4/4
Second day of my own #LDS/#Mormon-flavored #BlackLivesMatter commitment - sharing posts from black Mormon and Mormon-adjacent people about their experiences with racism and discrimination, either within the church itself or within the US. 1/4

Still resonates today:
'Devan Mitchell, an African American Mormon living in Renton, Washington, told me about an experience with another black convert after the shooting deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile in July. 3/4
say - it will be about sharing the experiences of Mormons of color.
This first post comes from a member named Taran, who shares some of his experiences researching racism in church history and his own experiences with racism while growing up in the church. 3/3
As my own attempt to support black lives matter, for the next several days I will post, once a day, the perspective of a black member of my own faith - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, also known as Mormons - about their negative experiences with racism and 1/3
@Mr_Jayy_Redd @arlendiazz @shartshrapnel @ElleMaeGal I’m a black member of the Church. I’ve researched for projects at BYU our history with racism. Racism has been a part of our church from the beginning and while Joseph Smith tampered it with HIS abolitionist views, once the saints came to Utah our tune changed.
