@AZJohnnyC No thank. If we did have so many guns we'd have the rate of murder that you have in the USA. But we don't, so we don't. As tragic as this is, we have thousands more people alive today because we dont have US gun culture and our gun violence murder rate is shadow of the US.
@BuenoForMiami@GabrisKuba@RadioGenoa The rate is 30x higher in the USA. 1 single person is 30x more likely to die from a gun in the USA compared with Australia. The rate, not the population tells the story.
@BuenoForMiami@RadioGenoa Yet mass shootings happen in America hundreds of times every year, and but a handful of times in Australia for a decade. 30x more likely to be killed by a gun in the USA. Your comment is just wrong.
@worldzonfire@9NewsAdel It might help the victims who were assaulted at work be better understood by society. So others will understand the trauma they endured & issues they might have adjusting, the fear they are likely feel in the middle of the night... all just because they went to work that evening.
@mjrowland68 says "we are all seeing increasing levels hatred in our society" is this actually true? Or has our society become more inclusive and more disgusted with any examples intolerance and hatred? I say the latter And that's a good thing. #discourse#issueframing#media

@1petermartin on the Drum tonight gave a master-class in waxing lyrical from a distance, revealing an absence of subject matter knowledge or understanding of context. Come to the NT for a year and prepare prepare to gorge yourself on humble pie.
@Flixfee1@lapatina_ Firstly, disgusting comment. Secondly, factually incorrect. There are plenty of normal, cheap, supermarket test that require much less than 25 days following ovulation to reliably detect pregnancy.
@IAPonomarenko RIP Elena Bereza. This young Ukrainian artist painted the Ukrainian flag on any surface she could find from canvas to buildings and vehicles in recent weeks. Elena is gone, but her bright and colorful paintings live on as a symbol of Ukrainian sovereignty.
