The BEST meteor shower of the year is almost here!

With many reports of meteors last night, we want to remind you that the Perseids meteor shower is already ongoing, but peaks in about 10 days on the night of August 12th. During that night, you may see 50-100 meteors per hour under ideal conditions!

💔 Eleven years. One family. And now… a shelter kennel.

After spending nearly his entire life in a home, 11-year-old Beau has found himself back at our Adoption Center through no fault of his own. When his family moved and couldn't take him with them, everything he had ever known disappeared. 🥺

He's looking for an adults-only home where he can be your one and only pet - a place where he can finally exhale, settle in, and simply be loved for exactly who he is. After 11 years, we don't think it's fair to ask Beau to become someone he's not. He deserves a family that will meet him where he is, appreciate his gentle spirit, and give him the peaceful retirement he's earned.

He's lost the only home he's ever known.

Please don't let him lose hope, too.
