@HiggsBosonJazz @AaronBastani I'd urge you to consider arguments beyond temperature and think of the climate as a fine balance. This balance has allowed us to thrive. Tip the balance and how quick our adaption may cause social and political upheaval.

@AaronBastani The change won't necessarily be hotter, it may be many things, but change from centuries of norm for which our infrastructure has grown against. The problem being, it may change faster than we can adapt.

But there was no need to include the caveat bit, it didn't serve any point to support his leap, in fact it exposed him as, at best, needing to clarify his understanding.

If you acknowledge significant caveats for a 10 day outlook, then that undermines your fear for a ten year outlook.

Just a poor structure for your argument.
