@kingery40226@KhyleSocrates@FreddyLA7 And that’s why I said I didn’t mean it in a bad way necessarily, but I have gotten the impression over the years Europeans think they know us
@KhyleSocrates@FreddyLA7 It’s also a good indication of how ignorant Europeans are to US culture, and I’m not saying that in a bad way. They simply thought they knew us, but don’t. Then there’s the insufferable English…
@QBgami@califooya They’ve also discovered it’s possible to rain more than in England. Apparently they must only get showers and have never been educated in the ways of US downpours
@twill_94@adambeanlin You have no idea how expensive things are in the US. A beer at a typical sporting event is generally $12-15 depending on the beer, so that would be a mild markup, but possibly not at all.
@ScrewderiaF1 This narrative is starting to look weird at this point. That car is more competitive than many Max fans are admitting, and that’s a good thing.
@Fiddle2451@mcjboy_@Rainmaker1973 To be fair Enzo Ferrari was a member of the National Fascist Party and supported Mussolini, so not terribly far off of at all.
@TalkSoccer@frenchjraff@cam_pellegrino That guy just blocked me for suggesting he doesn’t understand averages, which based on his reply to me, makes it even more evident he doesn’t understand averages.
@USMNTBaldEagle Hot take - as a big soccer fan myself - soccer just isn’t an American sport, and that’s fine. It’s not saddening or maddening. It’s just the way it is.
