@saikatc I’m confused. You’re running to represent the amazing people of San Francisco in Congress. But you only post about national political strategy, never about helping our neighbors, their families, homes and jobs. Our city has enough political hacks. It needs real leaders.
@saikatc This is why ultra-liberals are losing America and will soon lose California and San Francisco. They think grandstanding on podcasts is the same as solving problems. Nothing says ‘I care about your future’ like a 45-minute lecture from a guy who has no idea how to help you!
@saikatc The Trump “takeover” happened because ultraliberals like you, @AOC, @SpeakerPelosi, @Scott_Wiener are blind to American’s rage at being told what to think, who they are and how to refer to themselves, when what they want are safe neighborhoods, decent jobs and good schools.
@DanielLurie Another great step by a Mayor with a solid sense of what our city needs. Sometimes less government is better government, a principle that I wish @saikatc and @Scott_Wiener believed, or at least acknowledged. We could use less grandstanding and handwringing and more leadership!
@Scott_Wiener Oh please. You and your fellow far-left liberal @saikatc are nervous hand-ringers…. Rather than grandstanding about all the things that scare you, say what you’re for and what you would do. Fear-mongering is a cheap political trick. Our neighbors expect more!
@saikatc San Francisco doesn’t need a change of generations from one ultra-liberal to another. It needs a change of values that focus on crime, jobs, living costs and education. As the election of our pragmatic Mayor @DanielLurie shows, our city is changing - and not in your direction.
@DanielLurie@RefuseRefuseSF This is the way all political leaders should be. Getting their hands dirty by pitching in, not sitting behind a desk or giving a speech filled with virtue signaling and grandstanding. Congratulations, Mayor, for setting an example of what good leadership is all about.
@saikatc Government “fails to execute” because ultra-liberals like you insist it solve every problem instead of letting the private sector work. The more control government takes, the slower and worse it gets. People aren’t mad at incompetence—they’re mad at the mindset that caused it.
@DanielLurie@SFPD@KPIXtv Yet again, our results-oriented Mayor has shown that pragmatic thinking and actions can lead San Francisco to its former place as the world’s most treasured city. And it is so refreshing to see thoughtful action without grandstanding and virtue-signaling. Bravo Mayor!
@saikatc Unbelievable. Saikat is as out of touch liberal as @Scott_Wiener. He pushed the Green New Deal, a failed plan to overhaul the economy, backed abolishing ICE and wanted to defund the military. We don’t need a new generation, we need a new direction! San Francisco can do better!
@DanielLurie Congratulations, Mayor! Getting the Supervisors to witness and own the state of the city, and then to act to support your pragmatic and rational plans is an achievement in its own right! I am optimistic for our city!
@DanielLurie I applaud our new Mayor and his focus on making our city safe. It’s refreshing to see city leaders make the daily life of our neighbors a priority!
@Scott_Wiener Scott, you were the champion of SB 136, that cut sentencing, and SB 73, that ended mandatory minimum sentences. After fueling San Francisco’s crime wave and wreaking havoc for our neighbors, you finally want to crack down on stolen goods? Where were you when we needed you?
@Scott_Wiener Scott, it’s trillions, not billions. Trillions that you and your radical left friends made Americans dependent on. Aren’t you glad someone is rooting out waste and fraud? If you spent as much time protecting San Franciscans as grandstanding, our city would be a better place.
@Scott_Wiener Scott, your histrionics are misdirected. Liberals like you drove up inflation, opened the border, let crime rage and spent San Francisco and other cities into near-oblivion - handing the Presidency to Trump. Why not focus on how liberals lost working people and paid the price?
@Scott_Wiener Scott, state senators don’t influence what federal agency HRSA funds. Rather than non-stop virtue signaling, do the work to improve health for people, regardless of race, language, age, gender or other barriers. It’s not that hard to get things done when you actually try!
@Scott_Wiener Scott, nice how you match Trump’s trans obsession with your own. But what about everyone else? Have you taken to the stage to protect our neighbors from crime, inflation, bad schools or other threats? Every person in your district deserves equal attention, don’t they?
@Scott_Wiener Scott, no one likes government censorship. But why are 90% of your posts grandstanding and scaremongering about issues that have no impact on the lives of working San Franciscans? Wouldn’t it be better if 90% of your posts pushed for real changes at home?
@Scott_Wiener Wow, Scott. Good to look out for trans kids. But what about the working families in San Francisco who face high living costs, dirty streets, failing schools and constant crime? None of your 23 Senate bills last session helped real people. Where are your priorities?
@Scott_Wiener Shocking that @Scott_Wiener focuses on health care for trans kids when every child in San Francisco has higher chances of mental health problems, overdose deaths, homelessness and infant mortality than other cities. Why not look out for all kids in our city than just a few???
