@Propii69 @AHHMACC @PopBase the point I was trying to make is just for driving. If you live in the us (or any country that is not your homeland) you should learn some level of the native language. But driving in places wear you don’t speak the language is not an issue.

i was (and still am) sympathetic to this take. people should dress respectably in public. they don’t just dress like slobs at airports, it’s everywhere.

but i’m starting to think airports are an exception. air travel was once seen as an occasion to dress up. now passengers are treated like cattle. there’s no incentive to elevate our dress in such a demoralizing environment.
