Today, we launched Team Texas Public Schools.
Texas Public Schools are in crisis, so we’re building a movement for Texans who love their public schools and are ready to fight for them. We’ve assembled a toolbox so you can be part of growing this movement.
Whether you’re a parent, a teacher, a student, a school administrator, or just a proud product of Texas public schools, we want to hear from you, and we want to work with you. This is NOT a fundraising effort. It’s bigger. It’s our last best chance to save Texas Public Schools.
Sign up by texting SCHOOLS to 80191.
@GinaHinojosaTX Can we do something about opt out kids counting as zeros for teachers, campuses, and districts if we are going to have this terrible test?

@11_Carson1 good showing with first double-double of the year with 29 pts and 13 rebounds. The best is yet to come for this young program! Fun watching this young program grow!
@DocPeteChambers That would be a train wreck! That would create a whole bunch of Houston and Dallas ISDs which do not function very well. As a rural Texan I personally like that I have local control. This would take this away.
@jerryrtrtexas@ShelleyLuther Actually it is the PVS study that is controlled by the state comptroller. Everybody wants to blame the local entity CONTROLLED by the state!

@TPPF@JamesQuinteroTX Do you know who is responsible for the values? Of course you do….the PVS study and the state comptroller! Quit blaming local government and look at the real culprit for exploding tax bills!
@BradBuckleyDVM Is this 3 tests or 4? Is there a writing test thrown in the mix. This is NOT good for kids…Have you not seen the amount of parents opting out and making scores go down because they count as failures. Parents are speaking loudly! Are yall listening?
@DonHuffines You did not do this when you were in the Senate and you CAN’T do this as comptroller. So quit lying to everybody. MUD taxes are a bigger crime from double dipping on infrastructure but you did do that!!!!
@JBorregoTX You are correctt communities are stuck with the tab of the high influx of people migrating to the state. Maybe subsidies and incentives to recruit busineses should stop to mitigate this problem
