“It doesn’t catch up to you… until it catches up to you!”
After about 10 years of barely any training or exercise, it’s time to take health & fitness seriously again.
Comeback tour is underway… Arch 2.0 in full effect! 🔥”
30 years ago I started a journey. Not one scholarship offer. The reason? I was deemed too slow.
That day I DECIDED nothing would stop me. I found my trainer Jay Schroeder and started an unorthodox training program that tested me physically, emotionally, and psychologically to level I could have never imagined. I lived by the mantra that:
Your will to PREPARE for success had to be far greater than your desire for success.
I went all in, committed my heart and soul, and 5 years later - 25 years ago - I had my chance to show the NFL how far I’d come.
Here the video from my pro day:
40 YD - 4.37
Short Shuttle - 3.83
3 Cone - 6.37
Long Shuttle - 10.77
Pedal Flip - 4.11
I also benched 225 lbs 31x , vertical jumped 39.5", broad jumped 10'10"
I literally transformed myself from a nobody to one of the best in the world in 5 years.
I post this not to brag but as a reminder. BELIEF is powerful. Don't ever allow or entertain anybody's judgment or narrative about you, even for a microsecond. DOUBLE DOWN on yourself and always put it all on your shoulders. Have immense GRATITUDE for what God has put in front of you.
Looking back, I’m grateful I didn’t earn a scholarship, that I had to walk on, that I had to fight and sacrifice to a level I never thought possible... To BELIEVE in myself so deeply that nothing could ever stop me.
I have immense pride in that journey... More than in any NFL accolade. It represents defying the impossible and forms the foundation for everything I do in life today. My only regret? Back then, I thought it was all me. It wasn't. Better late than never: all glory to God

The evolutionary monster you're chasing doesn't live in your curated posts or recycled soundbites.
It lives where you're terrified to look-beyond comfort, beyond ego, beyond pretense.
Most will never understand-or have the privilege of meeting-the species that lives in the places they're terrified to explore. The evolutionary monster inside you only appears when you cross thresholds that strategically expose you to levels of pain, discomfort and suffering, demanding concentration, sacrifice, precision, efficiency, discipline, presence, and intent few are willing to endure.
Many pretend. They drop the buzzwords, post the clips, record the podcasts. But we know. We see the watered-down, diluted, compromised versions of something they've never truly experienced.
They've never scratched the surface of the destination they express, teach or claim to be.
And deep down, they know it.
Find or create the pain, then follow it for the truest form of self discovery and ignite evolution. All limitations are self-imposed. The obstacle, the self-perceived limitation, is not the end-it's the way forward. The root cause of your pain, discomfort and suffering is not your enemy; it's your greatest teacher.
You wanted the grind—now it’s here. You built this life—now it’s testing you. What a privilege it is to suffer for a purpose—and to outgrow what you once settled for.
If one cannot execute appropriately, in the appropriate position, for the appropriate amount of time under extreme stimulus, then how can they be trusted to execute in any circumstance, situation, or environment—when the appropriate response becomes more complex under greater load, volume, and velocity, when the stakes are higher, and the margin for error is even smaller?
There is a process. If you fuck with the process then there is a cost. What that cost is will eventually reveal itself. Hopefully the price at that point isn’t too high to pay.
We are only as strong as the demands we are prepared to recover from.
A man who fears suffering is already suffering from what he fears. What a beautiful privilege it is to suffer for a greater purpose.
The Truth About Recovery:
Recovery isn't a product.
It's a process.
The supplements, the cold plunges, the saunas, the shakes-it's all part of an economic model designed to prey on the misinformed. It's the easy fix. No one wants to do what's actually necessary-be appropriately prepared to recover.
Your body will only give you access to what it believes it can recover from. If you haven't prepared the system, no cold plunge, no sauna, no supplement will save you.
. @elonmusk Neuralink is advancing neuroscience & bioengineering—System X + ARP Wave is doing the same for optimizing neuromuscular efficiency & human performance at levels never seen before.
We optimize the nervous system to evolve and adapt in real time, eliminating biological limits on performance, efficiency, resilience, and adaptability.
Imagine integrating this with Neuralink, Tesla, SpaceX, and Mars missions—enhancing human capability alongside technological evolution.
Would love the opportunity to be an asset to the vision and enhance their potential.
