I was so glad to lead the effort to start this program and am honored to have the support of the Chair of the Mandarin Immersion Parent Advisory Committee, Lingkai Zuo.
I am extremely proud of the Mandarin Immersion Program at Cherrywood Elementary School. The program has opened doors for our children, providing them with a unique and enriching educational experience. This year, the program offers classes from K through 6th grade.

Bringing new amenities to the community is one of the best things about serving as a Councilmember. Today we broke ground on not one, but two new parks in the North Flea Market neighborhood.
This morning we broke ground on two long-awaited parks! I’m excited to announce that work on Mercado and Bruzzone parks will be starting very soon and should be completed by next summer.
