Sometimes God’s work in our lives doesn’t look the way we expect. He may open a door we never considered, close one we were certain was meant for us or use an unexpected person or circumstance to shape our character.

What feels like a detour can become the very path that leads us to His purpose. God’s perspective is greater than ours. He sees the beginning, the middle and the end, even when we can only see the next step.

When life takes an unexpected turn, don’t assume God is absent. He often works in quiet, surprising and even uncomfortable ways to grow our faith, deepen our trust and prepare us for blessings we couldn’t have imagined.
