(re)tired from talking about 🇳🇬 || now tweet (passionately) about football and repost funny stuff. COVID changed everything || Barca || Proud Husband and Dad
I knew there was a paid campaign against Messi and Argentina. There’s no way on earth everybody starts tweeting the same BS for absolutely no reason.
People who don't even talk football started tweeting about football and spreading Messi hate. Lol!
He won the World Cup. They said he scored too many penalties. Now he has scored 7 goals without a single penalty . What I love about Messi is that he has a way of confusing idiots .
The difference is obvious.
When Portugal drew against Congo, the team managed just one shot on target. Ronaldo took four shots, but none were on target, and the three star midfielders created virtually nothing.
Against Colombia, it was the same story. If Portugal had gone on to score three goals against Congo, do you really think anyone would have blamed Ronaldo? Of course not.
Even in the last match, he had virtually no touches inside the box apart from the penalty, and he was substituted so Portugal could gain more control in midfield.
Now compare that with tonight. Messi alone had nine shots, six on target, scored one goal, and assisted another. The difference is clear.
I honestly don’t understand why some of you completely switch off your football judgment, you will just hibernate your brain whenever it’s time to defend your favorite player.
… WHAT HAVE WE JUST WITNISSED?!?!?!?
I’ll get to Argentina later, but this is ALL about Cape Verde - despite the elimination.
One of the best, most bizarre, utterly jaw-dropping World Cup campaigns I’ve ever seen. And it came from the smallest nation to ever play the competition.
Football, eh?
