@bellingcat@GeoConfirmed
I don't know what accounts normally do this stuff but I'm about 95% sure j found this location and it's not the medical facility at IUG
๐จIsrael blows up the Medical Faculty of the IUG to the south of Gaza city.
This was NOT an airstrike, but explosives that soldiers planted in person there; meaning the buildings constituted ZERO security risk!
Israel has detained & killed several doctors since Oct 7 (1/2)
@uafsans@konsumensch@IwriteOK @jdoe5225 Exactly. When properly explained, lots of people support "abolish the police"
The difference here is between abolition and reformation. We do not want to reform the current police system. It needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.
@amitylee13@MollyJongFast But how do we get those companies to pay for it?
Hey, what if we taxed them and used that money to fund research? We could set up an org to do it. Like the NIH.
@XanManson@BirdGuySky@nikicaga You are describing caring as a binary without allowing for the possibility of balancing different interests.
A liberal would save a dog from a burning building but would save a child first. A conservative would ignore the dog but save the child.
@XanManson@BirdGuySky@nikicaga Wrong. As the paper discusses, caring tends to operate as a zero sum. It's just that the range of it extends further for less conservative people. They don't "hoard" their caring close. The study did two tests to demonstrate this. One with a limit and one without
@pjaicomo This brings up my biggest question about all of this: Why is so much being said about the status of the parents when the 14th discusses the person being born? Why would a baby born to immigrant parents be any less subject to jurisdiction than one of citizen parents?
@Gingerroot775 @nikicaga So the hot spots on the heat map largely indicate how far out the circle went more so than a preference for things at the outer part vs the inner part necessarily.
@Gingerroot775 @nikicaga It's the same activity. The heat map was generated by multiplying the allocation by the circle's distance from center. 1 moral unit allocated to circle 1 was 1 point but 1 unit in circle 16 is valued as 16 points.
