My ex brother in law, who worked for us, always said the same thing about biscuits and gravy. We worked on the road and he always got them and always complained about how bland they were. After a couple years I finally convinced him to bring me some. They were absolutely disgusting. The gravy was mostly burnt grease. I’m glad nobody could cook biscuits and gravy as good as him.
I bought a starlink for the camper. Only been able to really use it one trip out of the 5 since then. Had to use my old cell phone hot spot the other 4. If I was to get a starlink phone would I have to find a place with a clear view of the northern half of the sky? How would it work indoors or in a car? Would I have to face my body east if the phone was on my left ear so my head wouldn’t block the signal? What about that several minutes wait I go through every time I turn it on and it has to figure out where it’s at and how to talk to the satellites?
Yes, I have questions.
I’ve worked at two different lubes when I was younger. Nobody at either place thought less of someone who brought their car in. In fact we kind of laughed at the people who would bring their used oil up to dump in our container. Those people went through a lot of trouble going to the store to buy oil and filter. Spend 45 minutes laying on their back under their car. Driving to the lube to dispose of oil and saved about $5. Not to mention we topped off washer fluid, tire pressure, etc.
