Sitting in a church doesn’t make you a Christian anymore than sitting in a restaurant makes you Happy Meal.
The question is, “Have you ever been saved by Jesus?”
You’re not enough
Jesus is
Don't believe in yourself
Believe in Jesus
Don’t follow your heart
Follow Jesus
Don’t live your truth.
Live the Truth.
Don’t do what you want
Do what God says
Self-help doesn’t save
Jesus saves
You didn’t evolve from apes
You’re created by God
If God wanted to rescue animals,
He would have come as an animal.
If He wanted to rescue angels,
He would have come as an angel.
If He wanted to rescue trees,
He would have come as a tree.
But, God wanted to rescue humans, so He came as the Son of Man to rescue men and women!
I can tell you with absolute conviction that lowering Biblical standards or attempting to redefine Biblical views is never an effective strategy for reaching the Next Generation with the Gospel.
What we must do is:
- Teach the Bible as the
authoritative Word of God.
- Share the Gospel.
- Love people by kindly, yet boldly
sharing absolute Truth.
- Be clear about traditional
Biblical views on sexuality &
marriage.
- Don’t make God more tolerant
than the Bible does.
God doesn’t call us to redefine Him for people. He calls us to preach repentance and faith, so that people will believe and worship God for who He actually is.
The same Bible that talks about God's love is the same Bible that calls things sinful.
We can't boldly proclaim God's love, then cower down on calling out sin.
We don't pick and choose what we believe about the Bible. We are called to trust all of it.

Too many people want Jesus to save them so they can go to Heaven, while also wanting to remain in control of their own life.
But, real salvation doesn't work like that.
When Jesus saves your life, He also takes control of your life. He is both Savior and Lord.
Faith is not an emotion; it’s something you can hold on to. "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time" (1 Peter 1:5, KJV).
Is your church focusing more on encouraging people to do good deeds or teaching them how to be saved? 🤔

Many people think Christianity is:
I do whatever | want & however | want. And, God exists to help me accomplish my dreams & goals for my life.
However, Biblical Christianity is:
Jesus saves me from my self. And, I exist to do whatever God calls me to for His Kingdom & glory.
From the White House to main streets to the Olympics.
There isn't a community of people more celebrated by culture than those who identify as LGBTQIA+, and yet suicide rates, depression rates, & hopelessness continues to rise.
Maybe, it’s not a lack of celebration & affirmation that is dangerous to people, but rather, the ideology itself.
When the church is silent on issues that the culture is screaming about, then a whole generation only hears one worldview.
The church must speak up, disciple up, and train up a generation to navigate through cultural issues with truth and love.
Silence is not an option.
We can't complain about prayer not being in our schools, if prayer isn’t in our homes.
Discipleship starts at home.
Prepare your kids at home how they should live at their school.
Not everyone who disagrees with you…
- is a bigot.
- hates you.
- has a phobia.
- is toxic.
- is dangerous.
Sometimes, people are willing to kindly share truth with you and disagree with you, because they actually love you enough to do so.
