When Music Finds Its Place
I found this early demo of a game online. The stock music they used was missing a certain magic, a sense of mystery. That afternoon, I sat down to re-score it, seeing if I could to find the right mood, the right balance of grace and intrigue...πΆ
@ElfJTrul Makes me think... The Runiverse needs a gym location, like the Shroom Shack. π "Staff & Steel", home of the arcane pump πͺπ§ββοΈ
@Hevaaak Love it. The environment reminds me a lot of the game "Flower". Curious, do you have a name for this location? What's the protagonists name? Maybe a fun content idea could be sharing snippets of story/history/lore π just my 2 cents.
I just learned that the Chatham Islands, located 534 miles east of Christchurch, New Zealand, have their own timezone - 45 minutes ahead of mainland NZ. π Surely thatβs just taking the piss.
@Lanstrash Nice! I think it looks great. Not sure I agree with the delay comment, maybe a tad off, but nothing that interferes with the fluidity of gameplay. Plus, light moves faster than sound so maybe the minor delay is bang on! Then again, I'm not a physicist lol
@da0xlab Finally, an explanation for the pyramids that doesnβt involve aliens - just fashion-forward wizards with impressive neck strength. This checks out.
@mikeytwoshoes69 YES! Haha "The Wilhelm Scream" - as soon as I saw the guy in the air towards the end, I knew I had to throw it in the mix π love that you picked up on that π
New Trailer Score: I could have used thunderous drums & relentless brass, but in the stillness where time falters, where sunlight cuts through the wreckage, I found a different inspiration. Ethereal strings hover over the chaos. Even in destruction, hope endures. #WIP#indiedev
