Ruto called watchmen to State House and played Luhya songs for them; it speaks a lot. Sifuna will bring back respect to the Luhya community and Kenya at large.
Weta and Musalia have really done big damage to that community.
Comparing ruto to sifuna it's like comparing day and night . We have a chance to get the best guy for presidency job and if we miss on this God will punish us again

The Fifth Year is not just another year in Kenya’s electoral cycle. It’s a constitutional guarantee that anchors the nation’s democracy.
According to Article 136(2)(a) of Kenya’s Constitution:
“An election of the President shall be held... on the second Tuesday in August in every fifth year.”
It’s a fixed, unshakable rule
⚡Constitutional Lawyer Challenges 2027 Election Date, Claims Poll Should Be in 2026
Constitutional lawyer Willis Otieno has ignited a debate by asserting that Kenya's next presidential election is constitutionally mandated for August 2026, not August 2027. He bases his argument on Article 136(2)(a) of the Constitution, which stipulates that presidential elections must be held "on the second Tuesday in August, in every fifth year."
Otieno contends that "in every fifth year" dictates the election must occur within the fifth year following the previous poll, rather than after a full five-year term. "The Constitution is very clear—elections are to be held in the fifth year, not after five years. That means August 2026, not 2027," he stated.
Referencing the 2022 election, held on August 9th, Otieno argues the next election should occur on August 11, 2026—the second Tuesday of August in the fifth year. "We have a constitutional calendar, not a political one. The idea that we can extend terms based on swearing-in dates goes against the letter and spirit of the Constitution," he emphasized.
Otieno further supported his argument by citing historical examples. He pointed out that despite President Uhuru Kenyatta being sworn in on April 9, 2013, the subsequent election took place on August 8, 2017, before the five-year mark. He noted a similar pattern with Kenyatta's second term, which began on November 28, 2017, and concluded with the election on August 9, 2022, significantly before a full five years had elapsed based on the swearing-in date.
Otieno, known for his memorable "paka mielo disco" phrase during the 2022 election petition, insists that the fixed election date in the Constitution overrides the conventional understanding of a five-year presidential term.
The election date is not a rumor or a suggestion; it is a legal fact anchored in Article 136(2)(a) of the Constitution:
"An election of the President shall be held on the second Tuesday in August in every fifth year."
Given that the last General Election was on 9th August 2022, counting five years brings us to August 2027, yes — but the requirement is for elections every five years, not after five years.
Moreover, the Constitution demands regular, predictable elections — and the five-year cycle runs from election date to election date, not from swearing-in to swearing-in.
Pikipiki ponki was right when he said election should be held in 2026.
Bro has been saying it since last year.
He has read and understood the constitution.
