Not a drum was heard, not a funeral note, As his corse to the rampart we hurried; Not a soldier discharged his farewell shot O'er the grave where our hero we buried.
We buried him darkly at dead of night,
The sods with our bayonets turning;
By the struggling moonbeam's misty light
And the lantern dimly burning.
@the_sfrp@mikemovies On the other hand....
Even the day-by-day isn't as sure as they make it in Wall.Steet.
Nobody has perfect knowledge. Both parties are trading for their own reasons. Many such cases where someone "loses" in one day only to win big by holding a stock longer.
@the_sfrp@mikemovies In a day-by-day sense I agree. It was a bit much to see the heroes in the Big Short selling their stocks at the end of the film and still being presented as the good guys while saddling others with what they knew were worthless paper at the time.
@HazelAppleyard_ They are filming a skit in front of their child who can't tell it isn't real.
Making their child feel their home is less stable (they can tell)
For clicks.
Full of f-bombs no less.
And thinking people will like it.
What a bunch of skanks.
@AlpacaAurelius they lessen this effect as much less people in that age cohort have terminal health conditions at the time of measurement.
And multiple studies show that at middle age higher LDL is consistently associated with higher cardiac events and higher mortality.
@AlpacaAurelius causing any negative outcome itself, it is just one of many such symptoms of dying people.
So of course this study is picking up a lot of end stage older people who are in this situation and skewing the low LDL results statistically.
The middle age results are better because
@hofferNTPhD@Gxpx5@Reformed_Rican Seems that the argument for Acts being pre 64 AD is much better as it doesn't reference the death of Peter or Paul at all, nor does it mention the destruction of the Temple. And since Luke was written before Acts and Mark was pre-Luke that puts all the Gospels pre 62 or so.
The most insane driving behavior I occasionally see is when I stop for a pedestrian at a crosswalk and the driver behind me doesn't see them, so they cross into the opposing lane to drive around me
