Today, we collectively experience and celebrate history in the form of America’s Semiquincentennial. Although our history has not been perfect — it has taught us that we can achieve a more perfect union when we foster humanity and treat one another with dignity. I acknowledge the grave sacrifices made by the many that have come before us, for and on behalf of our country. The road ahead may be long, but the United States of America will always be worth the fight.
Happy 250th Birthday, America 🇺🇸
After my congressional run earlier this year, I made a decision to reflect on what was next for me and how I could help move our country forward in the future.
Although I had no intention of seeking political office again in the near term, I remained open to consideration in case I was asked. Recently, I was asked to consider running for state office in my district.
While my focus was on federal office, I understand that leadership requires serving when and where you are called.
After much prayer and consideration, I have decided to enter the race for Indiana State Representative District 90 and have accepted the Indiana Democratic Party’s nomination to be the Democratic candidate on the ballot in November.
I look forward to earning the votes of Hoosiers in Franklin and Perry Townships and providing the representation that residents of District 90 deserve.

Enjoyed having dinner and spending time talking with voters and other candidates at the Bartholomew County Spring Dinner in Columbus.
I am encouraged by the number of Hoosier Democrats seeking to make change in Indiana and their passion in pointing our county in a better direction.
Thank you, Bartholomew County Democratic Party, for hosting this interactive event and for allowing me to join you.
Early voting has already begun, and I hope to have your vote.

Thank you Indiana Farm Bureau for hosting a bipartisan event for voters to meet the local, state, and federal candidates seeking to represent Randolph County.
It was an honor to share our campaign’s priorities to improve the lives of Americans with Democrats and Republicans alike, and to listen to the experience of candidates across the aisle who are running for office as well.

My thoughts and prayers are with the passengers and crew members injured in the crash at New York's LaGuardia Airport, and my deepest condolences to the families of the two pilots whose lives were lost in this tragic accident.
Our nation's transportation systems must be strengthened through increased oversight to ensure accidents like these can never take place on the ground or in the skies above us.
For too long, Hoosiers in Indiana’s 6th District have lacked proper representation in Congress. Rising costs at the grocery store and fuel pump, cuts to federal funding for Medicaid and education, and the elimination of Affordable Healthcare Act (ACA) subsidies have left Hoosiers financially burdened, with no relief in sight.
Hoosiers deserve an advocate in Washington, DC who will speak up for them, put their issues first, and seek relief through federal legislation.
I pledge to work tirelessly in Congress to improve the quality of life for Hoosiers and to strengthen the fabric of our country.
Vote for the representation you deserve on May 5th.

Change is coming to Indiana.
In two weeks, voters in Marion, Johnson, Bartholomew, Shelby, Hancock, Henry, Rush, Wayne, Fayette, Union, and Randolph counties will have the opportunity to hear from four different candidates seeking to represent them in Congress.
Elections have consequences, so please make time to attend and learn about the candidates so you can make an informed decision about who should represent the 6th Congressional District in Congress.
I look forward to meeting many of you there.

The health of Hoosiers must be prioritized over profit.
As a former resident of Decatur Township, I stand in strong opposition to the proposed Sabey Data Center near Camby Road and S. Kentucky Avenue.
This hyperscale development will consume massive amounts of power and create environmental pollution, in addition to posing health risks to the local community due to its close proximity to residential neighborhoods and people with disabilities at nearby Damar Services, Inc.
It is my sincere hope that commissioners of the City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development will reconsider the health effects this data center will impose on citizens, and vote to disapprove this development on March 18th.
Thank you Protect Decatur Township for keeping residents informed and for bringing attention to this important issue.
