Zimbabwe are human but Brian Bennett isn't. What a player they have. We hope he gets an IPL deal. If not, the รslensk Premier League (รPL) awaits in May.
a) SA spends $197 Million yearly on Chicken from Brazil, not Namibia.
b) Tanzania spends $13 Million yearly on alcohol from France, not South Africa
Yet at AU summits, we say Africa must trade with each other. For 50 years, we have been discussing, discussing & discussing !!
Zimbabwe is not qualifying to super 8 because luck but they are qualifying because of sheer brilliance by beating Australia who were competing with them for super 8, so don't be so shameful & call Zimbabwe lucky & demean their achievement.
Congratulations Zimbabwe, you earned super 8โค๏ธ

Today, I turn 27.
Years of Gratitude. Years of Grit. Years of Becoming.๐๐ฅ27 years of refusing to accept defeat โจ๐ฅ
โIt is impossible to live your life and not fail at something, unless you live your life so carefully that it would be as if you had not lived at all. In which case you have failed by default.โ
โ J.K. Rowling
For 27 years, life has been a wild apprenticeship, a relentless initiation into courage, truth, and becoming. Iโve walked through fire, fear, loss, and quiet reinvention. Iโve learned to sit with pain. To endure criticism. To outlast boredom. To be misunderstood without having an affinity to over explain. I have been loved, I have fallen in love, then out of love. I have loved. To embrace discomfort as fuel for growth is the core of leadership. I have failed loudly, privately, publicly and spectacularly โ over and over again.
But what a stunning teacher failure has been.
Each fall carved character.
Each stumble sharpened vision.
Each heartbreak built a new spine.
Each humiliation forced a return to self โ stronger, clearer, more aligned.
I have known fear:
Fear of not being enough.
Fear of losing people I thought were permanent.
Fear of stepping out alone.
Yet every fear has dissolved in the face of purpose.
And then โ the divine plot twist.
Just 4 days ago, I received an early birthday gift:
Winning the German Africa Prize.
A sacred reminder that persistence eventually bows to grace.
And 7 days ago, the movement I founded at 18 years old โ my heartbeat, my rebellion, my offering โ WELEAD Africa โ turned 8 years old.
Eight years of refusing to shrink.
Eight years of building, daring, becoming. Eight years of collaboration with some of the coolest people whose work ethic inspires me still.
Through it all, I have never walked alone.
So here is my radical, unapologetic gratitude:
To the mentors and coaches who saw beyond my chaos and spoke to the future in me thank you.
To the friends who held my softness without breaking it you are treasure.
To the quiet allies who mention my name in rooms filled with opportunity I honor you.
To those who defend us publicly and coach us privately your courage is a gift.
To those who have seen my vulnerability as sacred and treated it as something to protect, not exploit, I see you.
To those who remind me of my worthiness even on the days I doubt myself, I carry your voices in my spirit.
Above all Thank God for the gift of life.
My soul belongs to the Maker of all things โ Musiki, Mwari. The giver of all life.
My spirit is in deep, overflowing gratitude to the One who carried me through every shadow and every victory.
So today, as I step boldly into another year:
Cheers to more failures ahead โ
because failure has been my fiercest mentor.
Cheers to more courage โ
the kind that makes fear irrelevant.
Cheers to more letting go โ
because losing people taught me that destiny requires pruning.
Cheers to the becoming โ
louder, bolder, freer, truer.
To 27 years of refusing to accept defeat โจ๐ฅ Cheers ๐ฅ @weleadteam@_DASonline@bustoptv
