@WilliamsonNFL@BDPeacock Do you think the Commanders should take best player available at pick 29, or try to pick the best player to fill a glaring need? Seems like they've got a few.
@mattbarrows Matt, knowing how dialed in you are, I'm curious if you have any read on the locker room impact—if any impact at all—on Bosa live-TV-bombing a post-game interview while wearing a MAGA hat right before the election? I know the entire roster will get some nice tax cuts, but…
@WilliamsonNFL@BDPeacock Where is Kirk Cousins going to be playing next year? NYG? Relatedly, seems odd how little we've heard Penix Jr.'s name in the national discourse, as other rookie qbs make a splash.
A new study from the London School of Economics says 50 years of tax cuts in the U.S. — which promised to “trickle down” and eventually boost jobs and income for everyone — have only helped one group: the rich.

We know who won and who lost; and it’s legitimate to ask questions about what failed. But it seems far more important to take a longer and deeper look at what “succeeded.”
As Susan Glasser reminded us, the campaign embraced by a solid majority of American voters “was the most vicious campaign of lies, misogyny, racism, and xenophobia ever waged.”
This is what “worked.” This is what “won.”
That seems like a bigger story than what failed.

Even if Trump loses, he will have proved that the most vicious campaign of lies, misogyny, racism, and xenophobia ever waged was not enough to stop nearly half the country from supporting him.

Let's please remember that the Republican presidential nominee is set to be SENTENCED for 34 felonies on November 26.
That he is a major party nominee is not normal. The rule of law matters.
Vote accordingly.
Trump is closing in a way that makes it impossible to normalize or rationalize the virulent, racialized Us versus Them hate that has been his animating political purpose for over a decade.
@LuanaConley Did it ever occur to you to ask yourself why Taibbi isn't calling out Musk for censoring this site, since he seemed so obsessed with it when it was regarding reports about Hunter Biden's laptop, the most nothingburger of nothingburgers? Or why Greenwald never calls out the GOP?
The blue bars are articles mentioning Hillary Clinton's email server in the week after the Oct. 2016 Comey letter.
The red bars are articles mentioning Trump's Jan. 6 indictment the week after Jack Smith's latest filing was unsealed earlier this month.
@DaytonPubPolicy For every economist that says one thing, another will say the opposite. There were inflationary concerns, yes, but those were outweighed by concern of entering a recession, etc. A lose-lose situation, arguably, but the US has still recovered better than other Western countries
