On July 23, 2011, Ron Washington pushed all the right buttons in the 9th. Elvis Andrus tied it with a suicide squeeze, Toronto intentionally walked Josh Hamilton, and Michael Young smoked the game-winner into right.
Man that was Wash Ball in its purest form.

Also have to consider moving the big money guys and just taking flyers. Gotta figure out the money stuff for when the next generation is due to get paid.
Being at the game, the board was terrible all night and their really wasn’t any pregame like “hey this might happen” seems like a flop on the Marlins end and a shame to blame the fans.
Also, 9th inning was awesome as a Rangers fan

Feels like this next season will define the next decade of Rangers baseball. Are we willing to shop Evo and DeGrom and Co. in order to retool/rebuild for the future or are we going to go through 2016-2022 phase of trying to compete when we aren’t built to win a world series again
