@betitup5@Irish_Cowboy88@DanMarino I concur.
Probably the prettiest pass I've ever seen is against the Chiefs on a sunny day, at the :24 mark in this video.

@RedDirtMediaCo@CollegeSportsCo It's a bummer that due to NCAA sanctions, this game is pretty much all of the TV footage we have of that great Selmon/Selmon/Elrod D-line of '75.
I know that other film exists--from the OKC TV stations & OU football archives--and it would be GREAT if it was more widely available.
🚨 NEW: Fox’s @BritHume CALLS OUT fired CBS host Scott Pelley: “I’ve worked in this TV news business for more than half a century and I’ve worked for many different bosses, many I liked and admired, and a few I did not. But I’ve always found a way to work with every one of them as best I could.”
“I never thought myself as some great guardian of journalistic integrity who wasn’t open to the ideas of others who I might at first disagree. And I’ve never had a problem finding a way to do the work in a way to please me and whatever boss I had - or at least satisfy them.”
“These 60 Minutes correspondents, led by Scott Pelley, seem to think they are the guardians of journalistic integrity. But it’s worth remembering how that show works.”
“Like all these TV magazine shows, as prominent as the correspondents who narrate on cameras seem to be, these shows are producer driven and these correspondents become famous largely because of the good work of producers who do the interviews, writing, supervise the shooting and editing of the pieces. The correspondents get to become big stars that way on a show that has the best lead-in on TV - the NFL on Sundays.”
“So these people are a little self-important to say the least.”
It just dawned on me…
Georgia Tech’s best team in school history was the star studded 1994 team that lost the national title to Oklahoma.
The 2026 Tech club mirrored that ‘94 team in so many great ways, and was also eliminated by Oklahoma.

@GabeIkard For all this time, I didn't know much about JJ McCarthy, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt (even though I thought a BIG part of his natty at UM was their stellar defense).
Now that I've seen this.........
Fuck JJ McCarthy
@CoachDanCasey Thanks for posting these plays!
I'm an Oklahoma Sooner, and I had heard that @Barry_Switzer had recruited him as a wishbone QB.
But, prior to today, I had never seen him play QB.
@LarryInMissouri@OU_Football@OU_Wrestling@UofOklahoma Two words:
Ham sandwich.
Source: "History of Oklahoma Football, volume 3" DVD.
(I shot the interview with him for this DVD when I was working at SoonerVision).
@SoonerJG Yup.
7-3 Sooner loss.
Cold rain/sleet mix.
Game was dreary as well.
Husker TD on on their first possession.
OU's 31-game Big 8 winning streak ended.
OU QB Charles Thompson broke his leg on OU's final offensive play--although that wouldn't matter!
Switzer's final game at home.
