@RGSahawneh @squashulikeabug @mainelyJLaw@bellahoediiid @BEABAB0OBIES Except that they do need to be in the room when the main cast is rehearsing so that they know what the blocking is. Broadway understudies get very little time actually rehearsing on their feet because they need to be watching the rehearsal process.
@grodyzov @Batitcous_Prime@jondelarroz Yes, in response to you talking about the Democratic party. And still instead of actually responding to what I said, you've blamed other people and looked at my profile to find something to make fun of. Is that because you can't actually respond to what I asked?
@grodyzov @Batitcous_Prime@jondelarroz This post isn't about party names, it's about ideologies. Try making the same point while only talking about the political ideology of the people in question rather than relying on party names. Do we care what the Whig party did these days?
@ArcaneVl@stateoftay16 It also allows for pushier directors or producers to try to manipulate agency away from young actors to say "They didn't use it and it was fine," to get actors to agree to something that they might not actually want. So it's not about the choice, but the reason behind it. [2/2]
@ArcaneVl@stateoftay16 Yes, it's the actors' choice, and in this case I'm glad they had a good experience. But this is pushing a narrative that intimacy coordinators somehow remove the authenticity from a scene or something, which is patently false. [1/2]
@YoullFloatTew@starxeebs I'm not sure that this could be considered pandering people who hate musicals. Sure, there are always big names to help draw in audiences. The same thing happens on Broadway. But I don't think that people who hate musicals are gonna go anyway just for Ariana.
@ellorysmith Not to mention we might actually elect a more centrist Democrat if there was a real leftist socialist on the ticket. Not the end goal of course, but we at least need something on the left to start swinging the pendulum back.
@Not_End_User@octopuscaveman They taste exactly like the public school rib sandwiches. So if you're nostalgic for that, go for it. I was grossed out by the taste of cafeteria food, but people seem to love it.
@Jani__Gee Not to mention macaroni is one kind of noodle and spaghetti is another and neither of them is tied to a sauce. And only one of them is included in this dish that is a mashup of their names.
