@paulbloomatyale I love the story you share about the Dalai Lama saying he would kill Hitler, but would not be mad at him. I think it’s relevant to our current moment of anxiety. But I can’t find anything about it. Do you have a link?
One of the hardest parts of all this is the not knowing. We don't know if we will get sick. We don't know how long the isolation will last. We don't know what will come after.
I've found some comfort in reminding myself that we never know. We never actually know.

Working from home now? Stressed out? Try replacing the time you used to spend commuting (or even just a piece of it) with meditation. It’s a great time to start a practice. It's free. It's safe. It will help you cope. #COVIDー19#meditation
We did it.
We just voted to expand Medicaid to 3,700 of my constituents and more than 300,000 uninsured Virginians.
This is the product of the votes you cast, the doors you knocked, the phone calls you made, the donations you contributed and the word you spread.
Thank you!!!
The FBI didn't act aggressively on early evidence against the Boston bombers, the Orlando shooter, and the San Bernardino shooters ... maybe its not just identity but we have a big country filled with guns and violence and surveilling/stopping every possible threat is difficult.
We're so focused on Trump and this political circus that we're missing the BIG BIG picture. We have a growing, powerful section of our fellow citizens who do not believe in a democratic, shared society. 6/
Our social fabric is so weak right now. Ripe for ugly opportunism. She implies that Puerto Ricans are not THEMSELVES US taxpayers. They are. https://t.co/mJjlAWwDDM
