🚨Unbiased & Unpopular opinion.
Let’s end the narrative that KIU only produces bad doctors. I didn’t go to KIU and I have no attachment to the university but stay with me for a moment.
A university gives you knowledge and skills but character, discipline, and work ethic come from the individual.
A bad medical student can become a bad doctor no matter the university they attend, just like a committed student can excel anywhere.
FYI: Harvard university has alot of fools.
I have personally met alot of good health professionals from KIU ( with both knowledge and skills) and have equally seen quacks from the “traditional & prestigious” universities.
KIU produces more doctors morethan any other university, so in the near future their doctors are gona be everywhere; & this none sense of “I’m gona avoid them” can’t work. And there is high likelihood that your current favorite doctor is from KIU & that shouldn’t bother you as long as he/she is good.
📌Let’s focus on personal responsibility, continuous learning, and professional ethics instead of labels.
Medicine is about saving lives, not competing reputations.
Nonetheless every university has its flaws.
To our KIU doctors striving to improve the health system of this country, keep it up 👏🏽.
