@BigSmokeOoooh@millarkylie @Boynebloke No one said Northern Ireland is in GB. The actual name of the Country is the United Kingdom of Great Britain AND Northern Ireland, absolutely no one is disputing that.
@BigSmokeOoooh@millarkylie @Boynebloke Please look it up, Great Britain is the island to the east of Ireland. When people talk about Britain in the way that you are they actually mean the UK. Please the encyclopaedia Britannica article: https://t.co/roLaOA080f
@BigSmokeOoooh@millarkylie @Boynebloke Yes Great Britain, Britain as a term erroneously refers to the whole of the United Kingdom not just Great Britain.
@BigSmokeOoooh@millarkylie @Boynebloke I don’t think you’re actually getting it, English also call themselves British, as do the Scottish and the Welsh. So why can’t the northern Irish also call themselves British? You’re thinking about it in a very binary way.
@BigSmokeOoooh@millarkylie I certainly do not hate everything Irish. I can sing for you (in English) the words of the soldiers song, doesn’t make me any less of a unionist!
