We had an amazing Cadaver Lab earlier this week. From hernia repairs and thyroidectomies to complex GI, our residents did it all. We even had a cameo from Ds. Lee and Sgroi from vascular. (They put the "fun" in profunda!)
🩺 Research from @MarcMelcherMD, @KazuS123456789s, and Carlos Esquivel finds that liver transplants from HCV-positive donors show no difference in 5-year survival for HCV-negative recipients. These grafts could expand the donor pool.
