A man stares at his missing legs, after Israel bombed a group of civilians in front of the Jaddallah family's house in the Al-Hasayna area, west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The genocide has not paused even for 1 day.
Together with a CNN crew, we were attacked by Israeli settlers during a visit to Sinjil, West Bank🇵🇸.
They smashed our windshield, pelted our car with stones, and tried to slash our tire.
EXPLOSIVE! An arrest warrant should be promptly issued against this self-confessed war criminal.
The more Israeli leaders get away with their crimes, the more the system meant to protect us all gets irreparably destroyed.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Lebanon:
I said that Southern Lebanon would become Gaza. We would apply the Rafah model.
We would destroy everything there. We would deal with them in exactly that way.
And that is what we did.
The infrastructure has been destroyed. Homes in 24 villages along the border—villages that had existed for hundreds of years and were used by Hezbollah as military outposts against Israel—have been demolished.
The army systematically flattened the villages with bulldozers and explosives. Ninety percent of the houses are gone. Between 15,000 and 20,000 homes have been destroyed.
A few videos of last night’s attack, when violent settlers invaded umm al-khair to plant Israeli flags and try to steal another tract of land. Take note of all the cheap shots. Throwing a tiny female activist to the ground. Knees to the groin. Kicking someone while hiding behind a friend. Taking a shot at my throat. And then scampering to the IDF when they arrived to cry victim. To be clear — the Palestinians and their allies did not ask for this confrontation, and did not throw a single punch back, which would have resulted in an immediate arrest if not murder. All they want is to be left alone in their tiny peaceful village.
Ro and I visited the destroyed village of Zanuta and the site of an EU-funded school that got burned down by settlers.
It was here that we got intercepted and captured by settlers wielding American-made rifles. The IDF showed up to back up the settlers, not the U.S. congressman.
Israeli settlers, in general, are the worst scum on earth. They have become so psychotic that Israelis pretend to denounce them, but it's the US-funded IDF which protects and enables them.
If they do this to a US Congressman (with US arms), imagine what they do to Palestinians:
Israeli settlers, brandishing American made M4s, detained me & other Americans on my trip to Palestine.
When the IDF arrived, they sided with the settlers & continued our detention.
They made a huge mistake.
You will be hearing more soon. https://t.co/rZw8bRAn64
Israel executed Ahmad in Gaza today.
A single bullet to the head.
He wasn’t a combatant.
He was a World Central Kitchen worker — carrying humanitarian aid.
A father of two.
His youngest child is just one month old.
Also, @nytimes , why isn’t this on your front page?
Well, let’s make it a front page here.
Headline is:
Israel Continues to Commit Heinous War Crimes Against Palestinians. This Is the Latest, Posted by One of Its Soldiers.
CNN already doing the hard work of preparing to be ruled by Larry "Friends of the IDF" Ellison and Bari Weiss.
It's not enough to have an Israeli news outlet on US network TV (CBS), or force a social media into Ellison's hands (TikTok). Need another one on cable, too.🇮🇱
The IDF did a field execution a Palestinian aid worker, who worked for @WCKitchen, which hasn’t mentioned Ahmad Esleem’s name or murder on its platforms. Neither has @chefjoseandres, who is busy tweeting about football.
All they did was a buried blog post.
WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL?
A Palestinian farmer tending his land in the occupied West Bank refused to leave for an armed Israeli settler.
So the settler took him hostage, blindfolded and humiliated him while IDF soldiers stood by, guarding and protecting the abuser.
I can't get this scene out of my mind.
Some may see nothing more than kitchenware, but to the family who lived in this home, these were pieces of a lifetime—cups they shared, plates that gathered loved ones around the table, and everyday objects filled with memories.
When a soldier smashes the kitchen utensils inside a home in Gaza, it is not just dishes being broken. It is an assault on the simplest moments of ordinary life and on the memories that made that place a home.
In Gaza, even the smallest things that carry the meaning of life have not been spared.
Israel has killed 10 more people today in Gaza. Including a @WCKitchen driver. Ahmad Nasser Saleem was taking food to hungry people. He is the eleventh World Central Kitchen worker to be killed by Israel.
