@katiecr62066555@DublinAirport No idea of the details but he bought the cheapest plane ticket he could to get in and got his bag back this morning, he was unsure if he was actually allowed to do what he did. Someone else I texted got it back without buying a ticket, here’s what they said
@FionaWa15973057@DublinAirport Would highly recommend it if your stuck waiting on baggage. Was able to reach out to about 15 people, so far 2 people have got their bags back (since they could get to the airport) and others are now able to use the info to hopefully get their bags back
@IsabelHealy1 I have an Apple tracker in my bag. Could show staff my bag was in terminal 1 but said there was nothing they could do and that it was lost
If possible avoid checking bags, tracker didn’t help at all as bit with the bags is not accessible to public
@DublinAirport These bags smell like they have something rotten in them and are covered in dust. Some of them have luggage tags with numbers, when I contacted the people it turns out it’s been months. Your lack of an attempt to do anything is absolutely pathetic #dublinairport
@DublinAirport The hundred of bags left abandoned around the carousels are your responsibility though right? The bags that no one can even get to? How are people supposed to find their bags. Actually try and do something instead of just sayings it’s not your responsibility
They’ve lost my bag, told me it never left Croatia, showed them the air tag I had in it proved it was in terminal 1. Then said there’s nothing they can do
@DublinAirport needs to sort its baggage, these bags between carousel 7 and 8 in terminal 1 smell horrific due to how long they’ve been rotting, and covered in dust too. Contacted someone with their number on their bag and they’ve been there months!
