@Sassafrass_84 I'm a millionaire and retired at $174K/yr (GS14/10). However, that's after I worked 38 years and contributed a lot to my 401K. BTW, a million isn't that much. The rule of thumb is that you can plan on an average of 4% per year return on your nest egg. 4% per million is $40K.

@FreddyLA7 My favorite US beach is Panama City Beach on the Florida panhandle. The only downside is the beach is white quartz with about 1% shell fragments. It sticks to you and is harder to brush off than sand but, it looks great.
