Hezbollah launched hostile aircraft, mortar shells and explosive drones that fell near the area in which IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon.

The IDF struck ~100 Hezbollah targets in several areas in southern Lebanon, including observation posts, a weapons storage facility and additional Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites in the area of Tyre in southern Lebanon.

🔴ELIMINATED: Hamer Iyad Muhammad Almatouk & Khaled Muhammad Salem Joudeh, 2 Hamas terrorists.

The terrorists infiltrated Israel during the October 7th Massacre and, in recent days, tried to carry out attacks against IDF troops operating in the area.

Additionally, the IDF eliminated Abd al-Rahman Mahmoud Jumaa Shaafi, a terrorist in Hamas’ Bureij Battalion who advanced attacks against IDF troops.

🔴ELIMINATED: Izz al-Din al-Haddad, Head of Hamas’ military wing and one of the last senior commanders involved in the planning of the October 7 massacre.

Following the elimination of Mohammed Sinwar, Haddad assumed his role and worked to rebuild Hamas’ capabilities and planned numerous terror attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.

Throughout the war, Haddad was involved in the holding of many Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity and managed Hamas’ hostage captivity system by surrounding himself with hostages in an attempt to prevent his elimination.

Additionally, Azzam al-Hayya, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who recently held a key role within the terrorist organization was also eliminated.

During special operations to clear terrorist infrastructure from the Litani area, south of the Forward Defense Line, 100+ military targets were struck.
Targets dismantled include:
- compounds used by Hezbollah terrorists
- underground tunnel routes containing large quantities of weapons
- weapons storage facilities
- missile launchers
Additionally, troops struck and eliminated dozens of terrorists in close-quarters combat, alongside aerial support.

🎯DISMANTLED: 4 underground tunnel routes with a combined length of ~4km in southern Gaza, east of the Yellow Line.

One of the tunnel routes was part of a group of routes used as infrastructure for holding hostages. Additionally, living quarters used by the senior command of Hamas' Khan Yunis Brigade were located inside the tunnel routes.

Several hideouts & weapons were located inside the tunnel routes. Additionally, during searches in the area, the troops located dozens of rockets & explosive devices.

Abu Tzakar infiltrated Israel during the Oct. 7 massacre and participated in the abduction of Mia Schem from the area of Mefalsim.
