Our players at the Falcon Invitational today did a great job at Emeis. Dolores Obertance shot a 101, Ashlynne Jorgensen shot a 106 and Julia Bebout shot a 107.

The Wildcats are back at it tomorrow at the Lancer Invitational at Glynns Creek.

The Girls season got underway tonight with a solid effort at Duck Creek vs West and Assumption. Dolores Obertance and Julia Bebout tied for team medalist with 47’s. Ashlynne Jorgensen and Claire Grassle also turned in good scores for the Wildcats.

Quick brag about our Boys Golf Team…For the 9-11 graders, I can see grades in 73 total classes ( I can’t always see grades from Scott). Of those 73 grades, 60 are A’s or B’s. The golfers are definitely holding up the “Student” end of Student/Athlete!

The Wildcats finished 10th today out 14 teams at the District Tournament. The team of Caleb Hythecker, Javi Alvarado, Alex Petersen, Ben Hyser, Zach Weis and Cael Green combined for a team score of 354. Thanks to all of our golfers for all of the hard work this season.

Awesome job today by the Wildcats on Day 2 of the MAC Championship! They made up 2 spots to move from 8th to 6th place. Caleb Hythecker was the team medalist with an 83. Other scores were turned in by Alex Petersen, Zach Weis, Eli Esbaum, Cael Green and Kadin Each.

The Wildcats finished 7th of 11 at the Saber Invitational. Oscar Kern east the team medalist with an 83. Other scores were turned in by Alex Petersen, Eli Esbaum, Caleb Hythecker, Ben Hyser and Zach Weis. High score wore the mask again today. It is not same person as last time.

The Wildcat team of Caleb Hythecker , Kadin Each, Zach Weis, Alex Petersen, Eli Esbaum and Ben Hyser beat the Falcons today at Midland Golf Club in Kewanee. The golfers decided that the high scorer for the day had to wear the mask on the way home. His identity may never be known.

The Wildcats took 2nd at the City Tournament today at Duck Creek with a season low score of 335. Caleb Hythecker was the team medalist and tied for 3rd overall. Other good scores were turned in by Alex Petersen, Ben Hyser, Zach Weis, Oscar Kern and Kadin Each.

Our JV team took 2nd today at the City JV Championship with a 175. Eli Esbaum turned in a 39, good for 2nd overall. Also medaling for the Wildcats was Cael Green in 5th place. Other good scores were turned in by Daniel Zawatzki, Caleb Kindred, Hayden Rasler and Curtis Temple.

Our Varsity team finished 7th out of 12 at the Assumption Invitational today with a season low score of 349. Javi Alvarado led the squad with an 81, followed right behind by Caleb Hythecker with an 82.

Our JV squad today held their own against a good PV team. Counting scores were turned in by Ben Hyser, Eli Esbaum, Alex Petersen and Caleb Kindred.

The Wildcats shot 151 to bring home the trophy in the 3rd Annual Varsity/JV Challenge, 151-168. The team of Caleb Hythecker and Carl Green led the way with a 33. Oscar Kern and Hayden Rasler shot 37 and Kadin Each and Liam Mathews shot 39.

The varsity team played at North Scott in a tournament with several of the top teams in the state and finished 13th out of 16. Alex Petersen was the team medalist with an 86. Other counting scores today were turned in by Ben Hyser, Zach Weis and Caleb Hythecker.

Great start to the season for the Wildcats. Today, the varsity beat Central, West and Clinton with a team score of 337. Eli Esbaum was the meet medalist with an 81.
