🌹 Run 4 Roses Experience: July 5-11 🌹 🌎Setting a New World Record for Youth Basketball Team Attendance! 🏀
Get ready for a historic moment in youth basketball! The Run 4 Roses Experience is here, and it's bigger than ever. From July 5th to 11th, we'll be making history with a staggering 2,766 teams coming together under one roof!
My thoughts as HS camps end this week:
1. Comparison is the thief of joy. Work on YOUR game -but celebrate other's victories. Everyone is on a different journey. Go at your pace not at someone else's.
2. You will play a different role on each team you play. You may be a floor general on one and a role player on another. Do whatever your job is for your team well.
3. ASK FOR FEEDBACK. It isn't always easy to hear what you need to do better but 97% of the time, you already know.
4. Watch Women's Basketball. Watch college and professional women's games. If you don't watch games, you shouldn't be playing-AAU or HS.
5. If all you are doing in HS basketball is going to team practices then you shouldn't be on the court. You need to work on your game and team practices are not enough.
6. Optional is not an option. If someone is providing an opportunity to improve and you don't take it, then enjoy your time on the bench.
7. IQ is non-negotiable. I don't care how good your skills are. You will not progress if you don't understand the nuances of the game and what every player on the court must do.
8. I respect the hell out of coaches who play underclassmen to help develop a solid foundation for the future. If you are a coach who doesn't-you care about the present and not about building a program and culture.
9. What coaches permit, they promote. Coaches who overlook bad attitudes and poor teamwork get zero respect.
10. Don't be an a$$hole. Seriously-mean girls don't make it. People (coaches, parents, etc) know if you are not nice. Girls who are not nice cannot be team players.
Please feel free to add your own in the comments.

Shocking words from Pfizer’s Former Vice President, Dr. Mike Yeadon:
"We're in the middle of the biggest crime in history. It's global. It has the intent of control, removing everybody's freedom, and will involve killing further millions, if not billions of people. It is long planned."
