@AvgFalcomProtag@SIGNAL_INTERFER@tager_mr80708@KryakvaMeh@senny_mathis to be honest man, you sound like an unpleasant person who’s all fussy and prickly about OTHER PEOPLES music taste and i think thats worse and you’re being more of a whiny bitch than people who listen to a specific genre. (not speaking as someone who listens to one genre btw)
@Lowkey2929@locriantreble@them_failure accounting requires multiple levels of human management and interaction to ensure everything goes right and everything adds up. especially when working in high-stakes environments such as within the government/military.
@Lowkey2929@locriantreble@them_failure another thing people dont realize, bookkeeping has been automated for decades now with programs and excel. yet we still need accountants. we need experienced humans to sign off, audit, and control. currently, offshoring is a bigger threat to entry-level positions than ai is.
@locriantreble@them_failure unfortunately as someone who is taking accounting at a fairly prestigious uni for the major, ai is plastered all over the walls, and I’ve had multiple mandatory assignments that required us to upload an ai chat link. its deeply saddening but if i dont do it it tanks my grade.
@DestroMazinger@Rhoady2000@BEASTM0DE5@tjayerrday no man they dont have copyright over the ip can you keep up? the artist has copyright over THE WORK THEY HAVE DONE. legally it is considered a derivative work, and legally the artist doesnt own kefla, but legally the artist DOES own the artwork they MADE of her.
@DestroMazinger@Rhoady2000@BEASTM0DE5@tjayerrday See those thumbnails there? Does errday own that art? YT thumbnails are considered commercial use! He is profiting off of an IP he doesn’t own. This is not considered ‘fair use’. In fact this is plainly more egregious because it’s straight up theft.
@DestroMazinger@Rhoady2000@BEASTM0DE5@tjayerrday great if you want to go that route lets go that route. the client who commissioned the infringing artwork, now used it for commercial use(youtube thumbnail) and therefore can also be held accountable and sued for infringement.
@getboofd@kbristosmash if you REALLY want to get technical with it, any person using any type of art or ip they dont own for a youtube thumbnail(aka commercial use) is copyright infringement without explicit written consent. and no, fair use doesnt cover this. so please hold both parties accountable ✌️
@getboofd@kbristosmash yeah man theres a pretty stark difference between a single artist of 8k followers and an ip with hundreds of millions fans. legally BOTH the artist and client are at fault for copyright infringement so be mad at both if you wanna go that route.
@DestroMazinger@Rhoady2000@BEASTM0DE5@tjayerrday and yes man, that IS how copyright works. if you buy a pokemon card does that mean you own the art on it the design of the card? no!! who retains copyright? pokemon!!! thats how art copyright works the artist retains copyright over the work they made
@DestroMazinger@Rhoady2000@BEASTM0DE5@tjayerrday i hate to break it to you man but no lawyer would take on this case of ‘defamation’. why? because legally its not. there is no explicit accusatory comment, the artist quite plainly said he used ai on his art without consent which is true and therefore ends the case there.
@DestroMazinger@Rhoady2000@BEASTM0DE5@tjayerrday legally this is hardly defamatory. legally you dont know how copyright works. unless there is a signed written agreement that explicitly states the artist is transferring full copyright over the art to the client, the artist legally BY DEFAULT retains full copyright aka ownership
@Moonmoon179@RipleyEllen67@UghhhDani I do not want someone like you protecting women. Entrusting you with a woman’s life would be one of the worst things to do to someone. You sound like someone who would hear a woman cry and scream rape in the bedroom but believe the man who said she wanted it.
@xhsdow@clddayss@markrioos @homocastration “high n mighty” and it’s them saying it’s designed for ipad and why they chose it over android ok. “doesn’t sound like they dont have a choice” no shit thats what ndas are for man procreate is on every ipad/iphone you can test in an apple store it is a big selling point for ipads
@kipugge@Keetsoona@Jollygreenberg@NoasTea if he could put a FRACTION of the effort he puts into “larping” and defending himself, he could have gotten success with his own power, not grifting off of a dead man and his family.
@kipugge@Keetsoona@Jollygreenberg@NoasTea because the people voted for it, it’s okay? suddenly that makes it right? these people who are unrelated to techno whatsoever beyond being a fan have say over who gets to profit using his legacy? what happened to putting effort into making a name for yourself, and getting a job?
